Business Manager
This person is typically responsible for the general office, accounting, payroll and financial reporting duties of radio cluster.  Generally this person manages the receptionist, office staff and the traffic department. A strong accounting background is needed along with good managerial and communication skills.
The duties of the Business Manager include the following whether directly or in a supervision role, in no particular order:
            -General ledger maintenance including journal preparation, posting and account reconciliations
            -Financial statement preparation and analysis
            -Billing duties including statement generation
            -Daily bank and credit card deposits with related reporting functions
            -Accounts receivable posting and report generation
            -Collection oversight (account executive has primary collection responsibility)
            -Accounts payable processing including check preparation and distribution
            -1099 preparation and distribution
            -Payroll processing, new hire/termination documentation, check and W2 distribution
            -Cluster human resource point person (under the direction of the corporate Human Resource Manager)
            -Prepare weekly cash report for corporate
            -Run weekly revenue pacing reports for corporate (unless delegated to another person)
            -Liaison between corporate accounting/finance department and the market cluster
            -Works directly for and under the supervision of the market manager of the cluster

Chief Engineer
L&L Broadcasting LLC, a radio broadcasting company that owns and operates 30 radio stations in four markets around the United States, is currently seeking  experienced Chief Engineers. This position:  Maintains station operation through preventative and corrective maintenance, Installs and performs maintenance on control consoles, audio routers, recording equipment, microphones, digital audio systems, transmitters, antenna systems, control systems, remote equipment, etc.  Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations, Excellent knowledge of basic electronics theory and principles including ohms law and ability to read schematics, Experience with cluster-wide studio equipment and operations, audio routing, AES and AoIP protocols, digital audio delivery and automation, EAS, studio telephone and engineering IT systems, Ability to use electronic test equipment and troubleshoot broadcast equipment to the component level, Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and repair high-power AM and FM transmitting facilities, IT skills including PC/server trouble shooting and repair and knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP and local area networking, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing, Knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, and standby generators and record keeping, Knowledge of telephone systems and protocols including POTS, 1A2,  ISDN, T1, DSL, VoIP and PRI circuits, Interact with management and staff at all levels and ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines, Minimum 5 years experience as Station Assistant Chief Engineer or Staff Engineer.   Education and Licensing Requirements: Associates or technical degree in Broadcasting Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent level of experience, SBE Certifications a plus, Must possess valid state driver’s license and provide required driving record and proof of insurability. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and/or move loads up to 75 lbs, Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces, Ability to be on 24 x 7 x 365 callout for after hour emergencies or routine maintenance as the need arises

Promotion Assistants Opening
L&L Broadcasting is looking for some part-time promotion assistants to work events for our group of stations.  We are seeking applicants who are outgoing, and enjoy working with listeners and live the lifestyle that represents each of our stations!  The position involves setup and breakdown of events, as well as assisting the promotion department!  Applicants must be able to work weekends and occasional weeknights, have reliable transportation and be "Local".
