According to the Mississippi State Department of Health the total of confirmed positive COVID19 cases is now at 1,177. That is 104 new cases reported from yesterday.
There were also 4 new deaths reported, bringing the states total deaths up to 26.
The deaths were individuals in the age ranges of:
- 70+ with 17 deaths
- 60-69 with 5 deaths
- 50-59 with 1 death
- 40-49 with 2 deaths
- 30-39 with 1 death
The virus now infects 78 of Mississippi’s 82 counties.
