A Madison County Deputy that was shot in the line of duty will be home for Christmas.
Deputy Brad Sullivan was shot in the head during a shootout with a suspect on September 5th, and after 3 months, he was released from UMMC & the Methodist Rehab Center this morning.
As he emerged from the building, Deputy Sullivan was greeted by cheers from law enforcement officers from across the state.
On his road to recovery, support for Sullivan poured in from across the state and the entire country on a Facebook page titled “Praying for Deputy Brad Sullivan”.
The suspect in the shooting, Edgar Egbert, remains in custody on multiple counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer.
