After a week engulfed by single-day case numbers north of four digits, the Mississippi State Department of Health has confirmed 672 new, positive COVID-19 cases with 10 deaths.
That brings the total amount of cases in Mississippi to 60,553 with 1,703 coronavirus-induced deaths.
Just yesterday evening, Harvard College Health Official Dr. Ashish K. Jha went to Twitter to predict that Mississippi will “become nation’s #1 in new cases.”
