The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 2,261 new COVID-19 cases.
Today’s report—the third straight day back over 2,000—brings the state’s total up to 187,904. With the confirmation of 26 additional deaths, 4,320 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus.
Overall hospitalizations remain above 1,200 in the latest data from the MSDH.
As of Monday, an estimated 148,466 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19.
