The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 578 new cases of COVID-19.�
Today�s report brings the state�s total number of cases up to 102,819. With the confirmation of 23 additional deaths, 3,074 Mississippians have passed away from the virus.�
*MSDH Note: 10 COVID-19 related deaths occurred between August 19 and September 29, identified from death certificate reports.
Overall hospitalizations remained stable in the latest data from the MSDH (Wednesday�s report).�
As of Monday, the MSDH is able to estimate that 90,577 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19.
