According to the Mississippi State Department of Health the new total for positive Coronavirus cases is 485. That is 108 more than yesterday.
2,776 individuals have been tested in the state. That is 17.4% of people getting positive coronavirus results.
There have also been 5 COVID-19 related deaths all in different counties, Hancock, Wilkinson, Holmes, Webster, and Tunica counties.

The coronavirus now spreads to 64 of Mississippi’s 82 counties. Desoto county has the most cases at 49 and Hinds County has 43.
As of now, there is no statewide shutdown in place.
Remember to wash your hands as much as possible, stay away from gatherings of 10 or more people, and do not leave your house unless needed to help slow and stop the spread.
