While we may not know the winner of the presidential election by the end of the night, Mississippi, and its six electoral votes, have been declared for President Donald Trump.
Just moments after the polls closed, the Associated Press projected that Mississippians overwhelmingly voted for a continuation of the Trump administration.
Trump or former VP Joe Biden must receive 270 electoral votes to win the election.
